SugarCRM is the major open source customer relationship management (CRM) platform; following the release of version 6, it is also certified for deployment on the Microsoft Windows Azure platform.
Interestingly SugarCRM competes directly with Microsoft’s own CRM platform as well as Software-as-as-Service providers, such as Salesforce.

Research commissioned by datacenter solution provider Brocade reveals
that 60% of European enterprises believe that within the next two
years they will have started planning and migration towards cloud
clouding. Whilst cost reduction is seen as a major driver by 30% of
enterprises, more than a third believe security to be a major obstacle
to moving into the cloud.

With the announcement of Google Storage it looks as though Google will soon be competing with Amazon in the cloud storage business.
Although Google Storage for Developers is currently available to a limited number of U.S. developers only, its pricing looks very similar to Amazon Simple Storage Service
